Meet Soly
I’m Soly (She/They), and I’m passionate about helping people to feel safe and at home in their bodies. I’ve been holding space for others as a yoga teacher since I was 19 years old which has given me immense practice in meeting my clients exactly where they’re at so that they can access their innate knowledge.
As a woman of color, I’m determined to improve birth outcomes for marginalized communities. I have experience supporting BIPOC and LGBTQ+ families.
My intention is to empower and nurture your family with evidence-based tools so you feel informed and confident as you welcome your baby into the world.
I’m a birth and postpartum doula, which means the support I provide can take various forms including:
* Us breathing through every contraction together
* Reminding you of your options and your sovereignty.
* Encouraging your partner to support you however possible.
* Physically assisting you into different positions and movements throughout labor.
* Educating you as needed so we can fill in any gap is in your knowledge about birth or newborns.
* Practical in-home support during the day or overnight so you can rest.

$300—Includes birth person and their partner.
This efficient 2 week in-person course is built to equip you with knowledge about evidence based care, comfort measures, and how to advocate for yourself and your family.
Everyone deserves to feel like informed, heard, and respected during their birth experience. By providing comprehensive and thorough education, I’ll help you fill in any gaps you might have in your knowledge surrounding birth and give you the tools to confidently stand up for yourself and your baby throughout the birthing process.
We’ll talk about the physiology of labor, cesareans, coping techniques, pain management options, mindset, and how to communicate with providers.
As a cannabis-informed doula and advocate of plant medicine in general, we can also discuss how you might navigate birth using alternative medicines if that interests you.
My classes are inclusive and welcoming to all families, regardless of their birthing choices or circumstances.
Note: This course is taught in two separate 2.5 hour sessions. It’s intended to be held in the comfort of your own home or virtually.

Q&A With Soly
How do you introduce yourself?
I usually introduce myself as Soly, the yogi doula!
What do you do for fun?
I love to stay up late with a book, sing, and dance with babies.
What inspires you?
As cheesy as it sounds, I’m always inspired by my clients. It’s amazing to witness what our bodies can create and overcome.
What’s your favorite food?
My favorite food is sweet potatoes in absolutely any form.
What’s one other thing you want people to know about you?
II have a deep love of meditation. It’s a big part of how I keep myself grounded and regulated during or after attending a birth and I love to guide my clients through it as well if they ask me to.
